I love gift-giving days.. It gives me an excuse to buy for favorite items i simply love..

My mantra in gift buying is not just to simply buy any affordable stuff or 'whatever' is available over the counter.. Picking a gift is very special tradition for me. Whatever I  need to buy as gifts, needs to be something "I love to have".

I guess I grew up not having everything in life, and was nurtured to learn that it is okay to not have more than what is needed. And so with that mentality, I learn how to pick my picks ;) Even I can afford good stuff these days, I prefer not to have them if I don't really need them, instead, I give them to special people whom I know will love them. With that, it is like having in sharing special things in life.

Me: watching him...doing something with this unidentified hanging object..
"anong ginagawa mo?" (what are you doin?)
Eys: magpapatugtog, lalaksan ko tong earphones (!!!! earphone pala yon!! now i see.)
Me: smiles...
"e tama lang pala, buksan mo muna to."
reached down and gave my Christmas gift...
Eys: looked down the small box..
"ano to? wallet?? (what he asked for as a Christmas gift)
Me: just open it.

I would not forget his face when he opened and discovered the smallest speakers just for him..when he tried it on...gawd! undescribable...the sound was amazing!!! all smiles..and yihaaa!!! I was so greatful I remembered him when I saw those amazing creation..

And so...piece of advice..it feels better that you love what you give...

And when you give forward...it will return hundred folds over..



A Swatch watch had always been a childhood dream...
