Dear Maxi

As you came in our lives as a big surprise, you left almost the same.. you never failed to surprise as dear...until to the last day...

May 1, 2006, we met a week old pure breed Dalmatian dog named Maxi...YOU. My little sister loved you endearly..but mom hated you..

"Hindi naman kayo ang magaalaga!!! Ako!"

We never had dogs since 'Che-Che era' (5 generation of our pet dogs we all named Che-Che) and that was almost 10 years ago, Lyra was not even born yet so Maxi, you were mainly her first pet and from that day on..you changed everything else. We treated you as an additional member of the family ...the special child!!!

Maxi, you were never an ordinary pet..With your hugeness and hyperactive mood, you were definitely a total work out!!!

kaya i would always say after bathing you..."para akong nag-gym!!!"..

Until you grew bigger and heavier!! no one could take you out for walks regularly anymore... it was either they could not control you and chase you once you started running or they were already scared you would be so excited once you raise yourself for an embrace!! (For the record ang daming nadambang tao na netong si Maxi..) Scary for others..but it was just your simple act of affection.

Then came the year you became the MAN that you were!! We did let you go for a vacation and you went back with a small Maxi with you.. Thank you, for Gummy and Pachi. They are amazing puppies of yours.

And after...You became the (all-time) 'laziest Dalmatian'...you just stayed in your place and did your own thing...but more so...we loved you just the same.

Thank you Maxi..for the good 4 years of memories with you.

We will miss you.
